Certificate III in Engineering - Fitter & Turner

About the role:
Are you mechanically minded, enjoy working with your hands, and want to build a long-term career in engineering? This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a Certificate III in Engineering (Fitting & Machining) through a hands-on apprenticeship with a well-established manufacturer based in Winchelsea.

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you'll gain practical skills across machining, hydraulics, machine assembly and workshop operations while earning a nationally recognised qualification.

What You'll Learn:

- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Operate machinery
- Exposure to machining, hydraulics and fabrication
- Use precision measuring equipment
- Manufacture and finish components to required tolerances
- Perform fitting, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work

- Use precision measuring equipment




- Manufacture and finish components to required tolerances
- Assemble machinery
- Perform fitting, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work

What We're Looking For:

- Genuine interest in engineering and machinery
- Mechanically minded
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively in a team
- Comfortable with maths, measurements and problem-solving
- Safety-focused
- Current driver's licence

An interest in agriculture or farm machinery, as well as previous workshop, mechanical or hands-on experience desirable, but not essential.

This is a full time apprenticeship, working 38 hours per week (including trade school), with overtime available when required.
