The Chance
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Bookkeeper to join our growing team.
Reporting to the CEO and Management Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of multiple family groups and related entities.
This position offers exposure well beyond traditional bookkeeping, including investment reporting, SMSFs, trusts, cashflow management, family office operations and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and investigation of reconciliation discrepancies.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including journal processing and general ledger transactions.
Prepare quarterly management reports, analyse financial performance, and highlight unusual transactions or variances in investment performance to management.
Prepare and distribute monthly loan statements and supporting loan schedules.
Maintain monthly and quarterly electronic workpaper files, ensuring appropriate filing, archiving, and conversion of hard-copy documentation to PDF where required.
Utilise Xero and Class Super to prepare and lodge monthly and quarterly BAS and IAS obligations.
Utilise Xero and Class Super to prepare annual financial statements and income tax returns, including Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).
Reconcile and maintain investment records, ensuring all investment transactions are accurately recorded on a timely basis.
Assist with payroll processing and administration as required.
Support cash flow management and the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Undertake other ad hoc duties and projects as required from time to time.

About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in producing accurate work and building strong relationships.
You will bring:
Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
Strong experience using accounting software, preferably Xero and Class Super.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with electronic document management systems and digital filing processes.
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of stakeholders in person, via email, and over the phone.
Demonstrated bookkeeping experience, including reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting.
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline.
Experience working within a Family Office, professional services, accounting, wealth management, or financial services environment.
Exposure to Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs), investment reporting, and management accounting.
