About the role

This role offers an exceptional career opportunity for a self-motivated and talented Legal Assistant to work close to home in Dandenong in a long-standing and highly regarded Law Firm.

Supporting a Senior Associate and Lawyer in a wide range of Personal Injury matters, including WorkCover, TAC and Abuse Law, you'll enjoy a busy and varied role as well as the chance to use your initiative and take on additional responsibilities.

Duties

- preparation of legal documents and general correspondence
- diary management and arranging appointments
- prepare and collate Court documents
- management of client files




- extensive client liaison
- preparation of bills and assisting with associated costs

Skills and experience

- at least two years experience as a legal assistant in Personal Injury Law or litigation
- excellent communication skills and a strong client service focus
- a sound knowledge of MS Office
- the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
