Work onsite at the world-renowned Melbourne Zoo location as part of a pool of seasonal casuals in the Admissions team
Required availability from October through to January across a 7-day roster including weekends, school holidays and public holidays
This role is for 15 seasonal casuals, $37.04 p/h + superannuation

The Admissions team plays a significant role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional visitor service for all members and visitors to Melbourne Zoo. We are looking for confident communicators who will engage with our visitors and members, promote the zoo's memberships, campaigns, and commercial products, and enjoy working in a cohesive team that upholds the zoo's values.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Have previous experience with face-to-face visitor services, customer service and/or retail
- Be a strong and confident communicator with great interpersonal skills
- A positive outlook that is adaptable to an everchanging environment
- Experience with ticketing or booking systems is highly desirable
- Experience in selling memberships or commercial products is highly desirable
Please note:
All shortlisted applicants will be contacted by phone for a short interview. Successful candidates will then be invited to attend an in-person interview
All applicants MUST be available 8 October for Induction Day, then from 12-25 October for subsequent training shifts throughout that fortnight
All successful applicants must have a current Working with Children's check and a National Police Check
This is a seasonal casual role with potential for ongoing employment

All successful applicants must be able to work across weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and over the festive period throughout the duration of employment. Please note that Melbourne Zoo operates 365 days of the year
