At Halls Head Dental , we're looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team. This is a dual role, perfect for someone who enjoys both patient care and front office responsibilities.

Job Description

You'll split your time between supporting our clinicians chairside and providing a welcoming experience for our patients at reception. If you're flexible, enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and love helping people, we'd love to hear from you!

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting our dentists with a variety of clinical procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments
- Maintaining infection control standards
- Greeting patients and creating a positive first impression
- Answering phone calls and assisting with patient enquiries
- Booking and managing appointments
- Processing payments and health fund claims
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting the team to ensure the practice runs smoothly

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

- Has previous Dental Assistant and/or Dental Reception experience (preferred)




- Is friendly, professional and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
- Is organised, adaptable and enjoys a rapid-paced environment
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the practice
