Scope and General Purpose of Job

To create an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting workplace.

Main Duties / Operational

- To provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times following the Operational Standards of Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park.
- To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.




- To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu and ability to recommend food and beverage combinations and up-sell alternatives.
- To ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organised at all times.
- To deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
- To provide excellent customer service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
- Adheres to F&B; standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and continuity of service
- Ensure outlet is set and ready prior to service
- Ensure accurate receipt of monies
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol requirements are adhered too at all times
- Working closely with the kitchen team to provide seamless service

** Must have availability to work a 7 day rotating roster
