WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for adaptable and safety-driven MPU Operators to join our Xpress Crew, supporting multiple operations across QLD. This is a dynamic role suited to operators who thrive in changing environments and can quickly integrate into different site teams while maintaining high standards.

You will be responsible for operating Mobile Processing Units to manufacture and deliver bulk explosives safely and efficiently across various open-cut mining sites. This includes batching, loading, quality control, and ensuring all activities are completed in line with blast designs, site requirements, and legislative standards.

Success in this role requires strong technical discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining close communication with Shotfirers and site supervision.

Ideally you will have;

- Experience in open-cut shotfiring operations
- Current Queensland Shotfirer's Licence (NSW Shotfirer's Licence highly regarded)




- Dangerous Goods Driver Licence (or equivalent)
- RIIBLA301A – Conduct Surface Shotfiring Operations
- RIIBLA203A – Conduct Mobile Mixing of Explosives
- Experience operating Mobile Processing Units (MPUs) and/or bulk explosive delivery vehicles
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and sites
- Demonstrated commitment to Zero Harm, safety leadership, and procedural compliance
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing operational requirements
