Business Partnering
Act as the primary HR contact for business leaders within designated regions and divisions. Coach and advise managers on performance, conduct, and workforce capability issues.
Partner with leaders to deliver workforce planning, succession planning, and capability development initiatives.
Provide onboarding support for recent leaders, including the facilitation of manager induction training to ensure understanding of people management expectations and company processes.
Employee Relations and Industrial Relations
Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances, and terminations.
Interpret and apply relevant industrial instruments, including Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and the Fair Work Act.
Support enterprise bargaining, consultation, and change management processes.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, employment legislation, and safety obligations.
Engagement and Retention
Coordinate and analyse stay surveys to identify factors influencing employee retention and engagement, and partner with leaders to implement improvement actions.
Lead and support employee engagement initiatives, including post-survey action planning and communication.
Support leadership and team development activities that build a high-performance and inclusive culture.
Partner with the business to implement initiatives that strengthen diversity, equity, and inclusion outcomes.
HR Projects and Continuous Improvement
Lead and participate in HR projects, policy reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery.
Support the rollout of national people programs, engagement initiatives, and capability frameworks and talent reviews.
Analyse workforce data and metrics to identify trends, risks,
and opportunities for improvement.
Operational HR Support
Oversee key employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, probation reviews, performance reviews, and exit management.
Support the annual remuneration review and short-term incentive programs.
Ensure employee records and HR data are maintained accurately and in compliance with company and legislative requirements.
Collaborate with the Safety and Wellbeing teams to promote a strong safety culture across all sites.
