Traffic Management Designer (TMD1, TMD2, TMD3)

Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + Super

The Prospect
Our client is seeking an experienced Traffic Management Designer / Plan Drafter to join their growing Traffic & Events team based in Clayton.

Working across infrastructure, roadworks, civil construction and major events throughout Melbourne, you'll be responsible for designing compliant traffic management solutions and preparing permit-ready documentation.

This role is ideal for someone with strong RapidPlan (Invarion) experience who enjoys working on a diverse range of projects within a supportive and expanding team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Control Plans (TCPs)
- Design traffic management solutions using RapidPlan (Invarion)
- Develop staging, detour and access plans
- Prepare permit and approval documentation
- Liaise with clients, councils,



authorities and project teams
- Ensure compliance with Victorian traffic management standards
- Maintain accurate plan revisions and project documentation

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 5 years' experience in traffic management design
- Advanced RapidPlan (Invarion) experience
- Current TMD qualifications:
- RIISS00063 (TMD1)
- RIISS00064 (TMD2)
- RIISS00065 (TMD3)

- Strong understanding of Victorian traffic management requirements
- Experience preparing DTP MoA and Council permit applications
- Ability to conduct traffic risk and hazard assessments
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team

Desirable

- Traffic management operations or field experience
- AutoCAD experience
- Swept path/vehicle tracking experience
- Knowledge of traffic management requirements in other Australian states
