An opportunity currently exists for a People & Culture Business Partner , based at our Altona North site, on a full-time permanent basis. The role is responsible for coaching leadership, managing employee relations, implementing engagement programs, and administering the employee life cycle.
Key accountabilities include:
- Provide expert advice on people management, employee relations and ER/IR compliance while coaching leaders and managers.
- Support workforce transformation and change management to maintain business continuity and minimise industrial risk.
- Lead workforce initiatives that align talent strategy with business goals and long-term organisational needs.
- Drive key annual people processes such as goal setting, career development, performance management and rewards.
- Own the employee lifecycle, including talent development, capability building and engagement initiatives.
- Use data,
workforce planning and business insight to shape HR strategies, improve retention and support future capability needs.
- Lead People & Culture projects, foster an inclusive high-performance culture, and build strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to engage, collaborate, influence and provide coaching at all levels across a diverse stakeholder group
The successful applicant will possess:
- 8–10 years' experience managing EA and EBA matters in unionised settings, with exposure to both blue-collar and white-collar employee groups.
- Good knowledge and experience within food production, or FMCG manufacturing setting.
- Experience in successful change initiatives, delivering effective engagement strategies, learning and development and communications.
- Demonstrated resilience and expertise in managing change and building organisational capability.
- Strong understanding and experience of ER landscape, legislative requirements and ability to minimise compliance risks in a corporate environment (National Employment Standards, Modern Awards and enterprise bargaining).
