Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Account Director to join the leadership team. This role offers genuine influence within the business and a explicit pathway to Head of PR based on performance.

The Opportunity

This is a senior client leadership position for an experienced agency PR professional who enjoys building trusted client relationships, developing strategic communications programmes and mentoring high-performing teams.

You’ll work closely with senior leaders and clients across the healthcare sector, helping shape communications strategies that support awareness, engagement and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead a portfolio of healthcare client accounts as a trusted senior advisor.

- Develop strategic public relations programmes and integrated communications plans.

- Present proposals and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.

- Build compelling media stories and secure national and trade media coverage.





- Manage media issues and reputation management activity where required.

- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and support new business activity.

- Mentor and develop junior team members.

- Contribute to agency processes, quality standards and continuous improvement.

- Represent the business at industry events and client meetings.

About You

You’ll bring:

- 6–10+ years' public relations experience, predominantly within an agency environment.

- Healthcare, MedTech or pharmaceutical communications experience.

- Demonstrated success leading complex client accounts.

- Experience developing and presenting strategic communications proposals.

- Excellent media relations skills and established journalist relationships.

- Commercial awareness with experience growing client accounts.

- Previous people leadership or mentoring experience.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

- Interest in emerging technologies, AI and the Australian healthcare sector.

$130,000–$135,000 + Super + Bonus
