About the Role – Motor Mechanic

Are you an experienced Motor Mechanic with relevant qualifications and at least 3 years Looking for a great opportunity and above award salary. Then come and join the team at JAX Tyres & Auto Preston. In this role, you would be working in a clean and tidy workshop alongside the team and also some customer contact regarding their vehicle, with valuable old-fashioned customer service.

- Day-to-day tasks would include:



General and Logbook Servicing Brakes
- Diagnostics Experience on various makes and models
- Repairing and maintaining customer vehicles
- Identifying mechanical faults as well as issues with vehicle stability and tyre wear Fitting, rotating, and repairing tyres. Wheel Alignments
- Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles. Safely operating hoists

About you

MUST be a qualified Motor Mechanic. 3 years of experience as a qualified motor mechanic Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills

Be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day tasks. Knowledge of WHS Experience working on various brands/models of vehicles.

Available to work Saturday Current Australian driver's license.

What we offer:

Salary $80,000 -$85,000 plus super Well-established and friendly positive team. Uniforms provided.
