We are seeking an experienced Locum Mental Health Clinician to join a Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in the stunning Northern Rivers, NSW .

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with CAMHS experience to support children, adolescents, and their families within a multidisciplinary team.

- Work in the beautiful Northern Rivers region (approximately a 6-hour drive or under a 1-hour flight from Sydney)

About the Role

You will be working within a Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) , providing evidence-based mental health care to children and young people aged 0–18 years , with a primary focus on adolescents aged 12–18 years who are experiencing,



or are at risk of developing, serious mental illness.

Key responsibilities include:

- Deliver evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and their families or carers.
- Support young people with complex mental health needs, including those who may be difficult to engage.
- Facilitate referrals and coordinate care with appropriate community and specialist services.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, person-centred mental health care.
- Contribute to the continued development and expansion of community mental health services for children and adolescents.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- Qualification as a Social Worker or Occupational Therapist
- Previous CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) experience
- Current driver's licence (essential)
- Robust communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to commence ASAP
