Northern Health are seeking applications from a motivated and organised Workforce Project Coordinator who enjoy working in a fast-paced project environment to support the delivery of key workforce initiatives, programs and compliance activities.
Working within the Workforce Planning & Projects team, this role provides project coordination, administration, stakeholder engagement and reporting support for a range of strategic projects that enhance employee experience, workforce capability and operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging HR, workforce or project professional looking to gain exposure to large-scale transformation programs in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
- Coordinating project activities, schedules and project documentation.
- Supporting implementation of workforce and system related initiatives.
- Maintaining project registers, action logs, risk registers and reporting dashboards.
- Preparing project communications, presentations, minutes and briefing materials.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, vendors and project teams to support successful project delivery.
- Assisting with change management, training coordination and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Monitoring project milestones, deliverables and timelines.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination, administration or workforce-related roles.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience preparing reports,
presentations and project documentation.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Well-developed problem-solving and time management skills.
- Experience working within HR, health, public sector or workforce environments will be highly regarded.
