About Darwin Nutrition & Dietetics Clinic:

Since 2018, Darwin Nutrition & Dietetics Clinic has been providing evidence-based nutrition care across the NT. With clinics in Palmerston and Tiwi, we also provide services in hospitals, residential aged care facilities and clients’ homes throughout the Darwin region.

Our team supports clients across:

- Weight management (including GLP-1 therapy)
- Bariatric surgery
- Gastrointestinal health
- Chronic disease management
- Paediatric nutrition
- Malnutrition
- Sports nutrition
- Aged care
- Disability and NDIS services

About the Role:

- Private practice consultations
- Hospital inpatient services
- Residential aged care
- NDIS and community visits
- Group education sessions
- Health promotion and resource development

This role involves travel throughout the Darwin region. A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required, with approved work-related travel reimbursed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Deliver evidence-based nutrition assessment, intervention and review




- Develop individualised nutrition care plans
- Build solid relationships with clients, GPs and multidisciplinary teams
- Prepare high-quality clinical reports and documentation
- Support health promotion and community education activities
- Participate in quality improvement and ongoing professional development
- Help grow a thriving private practice through exceptional client care

Essential Requirements:

- Bachelor or Master’s qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Current Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status (or eligible to obtain prior to commencement)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while recognising when to seek support
- Current NT Driver Licence
- Current Ochre Card and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to meet healthcare provider vaccination and screening requirements

Highly Regarded:

- Private practice experience
- Hospital inpatient experience
- Residential aged care experience
- NDIS experience
- Interest in bariatric nutrition, gastrointestinal health or chronic disease management
