Food and Beverage Team Leader
$29.48 per hour | Part-Time
Seasonal contract through until 3rd February 2027

The Opportunity
In this role you will manage, coordinate and support your F&B; team to deliver expected standards in Food & Beverage operations of your outlet(s). You will promote a positive work environment, ensure exceptional guest service standards are delivered, address guest complaints, monitor food safety standards and train and mentor your team.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the operational responsibilities of running your outlet through the management of staffing levels, stock levels and ensuring equipment is functioning correctly.
- Provide explicit direction to team members and motivate team members to maintain high standards of guest service and food safety, while following correct processes and procedures.
- Mentor and develop your team through efficient training and competency assessment and conducting performance reviews.
- Monitor food and beverage preparation ensuring menu items are prepared to recipe, quality and food safety standards and orders are accurate.




- Apply and monitor all food safety, RSA, hygiene and compliance requirements.
- Consistently monitor outlet cleanliness and presentation including displays, signage, front of house areas and staff presentation.
- Complete all relevant closing procedures and paperwork including stock management (SAP) and finalising registers.
- Manage COGS and labour according to outlet targets.
- Anticipate potential issues and act accordingly to create solutions. Report any issues that may affect outlet operations to your Supervisor.

What We’re Looking For

- Currently working in a Senior position.
- Excellent communication, delegation and leadership skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and SAP.
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in leading large teams.
- Willingness to complete further training courses.
- Availability to work any day of the week including weekends and nights and at other VRTP properties as required.
