About this role

Grant Thornton Australia is looking for aSenior Associate, Data Analyticsto join our Financial Advisory team inMelbourne or Sydney.

Key responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks, specifying the data to be collected and methodologies and tools used
- Work closely with stakeholders toidentifydata sources, gather relevant information, andperform ETLprocesses(extraction, cleaning,transformationand loading)
- Buildandmaintaindata models, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Power Query, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, or Pythonto automate and simulate processes, adjusting and recasting models asrequired
- Learn how toidentifytrends and patterns, andprovideactionable insights and recommendations based on data findings

- University degree in a relevant discipline
- At least3year’s experiencein a similar role
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable anddynamic approach to work,



with ability to pivot between different projects and teams as needed
- Excellent communication skills, including interpreting requirementsof diverse teamsand adaptinginterpersonalstyle todifferent audiences
