SUVA SHAKTI PTY LTD T/as Seahorse Brasserie is hospitality business based in Australia running additional venue inside Narooma Golf Club located at 1 Ballingalla Street Narooma NSW 2546 Australia. We are looking for passionate and experienced Head Chef to join our growing team.

This role ensures the efficient operation of the kitchen, supports the development of kitchen staff, and contributes to providing an exceptional dining experience for all patrons. While you will be working as a Head Chef in our company, you’ll oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring creativity, consistency, and quality across every service. You’ll lead by example, from hands‑on cooking to mentoring your team and maintaining strong cost and quality controls.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service, staff supervision, and consistent quality.
- Coordinating daily service and kitchen operations
- Preparing and cooking food
- Menu development and daily specials




- Managing stock control, ordering and food costing
- Ensure quality and presentation of all foods.
- Training and developing kitchen staff.
- Manage staff rosters to ensure efficient coverage and optimal workflow.
- Receiving & storing food stocks, kitchen supplies and equipment
- Advising on cooking procedures and demonstrating techniques
- Discussing food preparation issues with senior management
- Maintaining quality, preparation and presentation of dishes quality
- Implementing systems & procedures
- Implement, explain and enforcing hygiene regulations & secure workplace.
- Select and train staff.
- Freeze and preserve foods.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum Certificate IV in Kitchen Management and Diploma of Hospitality Management
- Relevant
- Working Experience minimum 1

- Ability to work full time.
- Flexible to work on a rotating roster.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year plus Superannuation
