About the Role

We are seeking a well experienced and licensed Battery Storage/Solar Electrician to join our team. This role is primarily focused on the installation, testing, and commissioning of residential and commercial battery storage systems, with occasional solar installations and associated electrical works, servicing the Western & Northern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities

- Install battery energy storage systems (BESS).
- Install, wire, and commission grid-connected solar PV systems..
- Complete DC and AC wiring, switchboard upgrades, and metering connections.
- Conduct system testing, fault-finding, and commissioning.
- Complete Certificates of Electrical Safety (CES) paperwork.
- Maintain accurate job records, timesheets, and safety documentation.
- Complete compliance tracking for rebate claims.




- Adhere to WHS/OHS requirements, particularly working-at-heights and electrical safety procedures

Qualifications

- Current Victoria A-Grade Electrician's Licence
- SolarAccreditation Australia (SAA) for Grid Connect Battery Storage (GCBS) & Grid Connect Photovoltaics (GCPV).
- Working at Heights certification
- Current driver's licence
- Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules), AS/NZS 5033, and AS/NZS 4777
- Own basic hand tools (company to supply specialised powertools as required)
- White Card
- Confined spaces or EWP tickets
