Position:
Mechanical Technicians: Heavy Road Transport Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Fitters

FIFO / DIDO / Residential - Preference for DIDO / Residential

Location:
Moranbah QLD

Roster: Various Rosters available: 2/1, 7/7, Mon-Fri

Requirements:

- Trade Qualified Mechanic, Certificate III - Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) or similar.
- Post-trade experience working in the mining, heavy mobile equipment, heavy road transport industries.
- Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns and diagnosis (highly regarded), component changeouts and servicing of road transport equipment and heavy mobile machinery.
- Demonstrated experience with a wide range of OEM equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams.
- You will also need to always possess a high regard and practice of health and safety.
- Additional Experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:




- Auto-Electrical
- Structural Welding
- Light Vehicle

Responsibilities:

- Building, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical equipment in field and workshop environments
- Must consistently prioritise and adhere to health and safety processes and procedures.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality outcomes; including strict adherence to Quality Assurance processes.
- Participating in on-the-job mentoring and training to achieve and maintain high standards.
