An ASAV-accredited hospital in Canberra is seeking a full or part-time veterinarian to join its friendly and supportive team of five vets, nurses, a manager and dedicated receptionists. The practice takes pride in offering first-class veterinary services and working closely with clients to optimise every animal’s health outcomes. With dedicated consult nurses, excellent teamwork and a positive workplace culture, this is a great setting for a vet who values both quality medicine and collaboration.

The large, purpose-built hospital is well equipped with digital x-ray (including dental), ultrasound and full in-house laboratory services. The practice provides a varied and interesting caseload across all areas of small animal medicine and surgery. You’ll be involved in consulting, routine and advanced surgical procedures, dentistry, radiography and ultrasound.

Experienced mentors are available to provide support in areas such as advanced surgery or ultrasonography if you’re keen to expand your skills.

The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6.30 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm. Flexible shifts are available – the practice is happy to accommodate your ideal schedule. There are no after-hours or on-call shifts.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisational skills, attention to detail, and a caring, team-oriented approach.

The practice offers a generous salary package of $95,000 to $160,000 per annum plus super,



depending on experience. A relocation allowance is available, along with ongoing support for continuing professional development, including paid CPD leave and an allowance. The hospital is located within an easy half-hour drive from anywhere in Canberra. The employer is willing to assist with a work visa (sponsorship) for suitable overseas candidates. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) and be eligible for registration as a veterinary practitioner in Australia.
