Resi Comm property Services Painter (Full time) Location: Altona North, VIC 3025 Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per annum Technical Skills The successful applicant should demonstrate: Sound knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing methods. Experience using brushes, rollers, spray-painting equipment, and hand tools.

Ability to mix and match paints, stains, and protective coatings. Knowledge of plaster patching, minor repairs, and safe work practices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.

Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by removing old paint, repairing damaged areas, filling cracks and holes, sanding, smoothing, and sealing surfaces before painting.
- Mix and prepare paints, primers, stains, varnishes, and other protective coatings to achieve the required colour and finish.
- Apply paints, varnishes, and stains using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to produce high-quality finishes.
- Erect and dismantle ladders, scaffolding, and protective coverings to ensure safe access and protect surrounding areas.
- Carry out plaster patching and minor surface repairs prior to painting.
- Install wallpaper and decorative wall coverings where required,



ensuring accurate pattern matching and neat finishes.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards and client expectations.
- Clean, maintain, and store painting tools, equipment, and work areas after completing each project.
- Follow Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures and maintain a safe and tidy worksite.
- Perform minor glazing work, including repairing window frames and replacing glass where required.

Qualification & Experience

To be successful in this role, you must meet one of the following requirements: AQF Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (including at least two years of on-the-job training), or AQF Certificate IV in Painting and Decorating (ANZSCO Skill Level 3); or In lieu of formal qualifications, a minimum of three (3) years of relevant full-time work experience as a Painter in residential, commercial, industrial, or property maintenance environments.
