With offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Hobart we have national exposure to all building types, occupancies and configurations.
We are currently seeking a highly engaged individual to join our Building Solutions team at our Clayton office. The successful candidate will be working at the forefront of an emerging discipline alongside a agile team of like-minded professionals in a positive, energetic workplace.
The Role
- Develop and document engineered design solutions presented in reports
- Conduct calculations and model trial designs
- Liaise directly with other members of design teams in each project
- Research and data sourcing
- Analyse and interpret legislation
- Developing practical design alternatives that satisfy legislative requirements
- Self-management of clients and projects
Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher)
in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil/Structural disciplines preferred)
- Creativity, driven, attention to detail
- Positive and proactive mindset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional time-management skills/experience
- High capacity for critical and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a larger team
