Salary: 80,000 Per Annum + Super

We are customer-focused Hairdresser and Barber Salon committed to delivering modern and classic haircutting, styling, and client care services.

We are currently seeking experience and motivated Hairdresser to join the master hairdresser and barbers to maintain our continued success in the business.

Key responsibilities

- Hair Cutting and Styling: Provide high-quality hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to the preferences of each client.
- Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional advice when necessary.
- Customer Service: Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for clients, making them feel comfortable and valued during their visit.
- Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including disinfecting tools and equipment after each use.
- Appointment Management: Efficiently manage client appointments, ensuring punctuality and timely service delivery.
- Position and Duties:
1. Employees are expected to perform the duties of a hairdresser, including but not limited to providing hair-cutting and grooming services to clients of Skin's Barber Shop. The Employee agrees to comply with all policies, rules, and regulations established by Skin's Barber Shop, as amended or introduced from time to time, in the best interests of the business. The right candidate is expected to start immediately.
2. Experience: Preferably with 5 years or more of experience and salon management skills.
3. Remunerations: The Employee shall receive an annual fixed salary of $80,000, contingent upon the applicant's experience.



Remuneration shall be disbursed weekly, specifically on Thursdays. Base salaries are subject to alteration in accordance with the Hair and Beauty Industry Award. Any overtime worked shall be compensated at the rate permitted by Australian labour legislation.
4. Work Hours: The standard workweek will consist of 38 to 45 hours. The particular work schedule shall be established by the employer and may be subject to flexible arrangements. On weekends and some public holidays, the salon is open.
5. Accommodation: Should you be relocating, furnished accommodation will be provided to you; however, you will be responsible for the payment of the rent.
6. Leave Entitlements: The hairdresser possesses the right to accrue annual leave and other leave entitlements in accordance with the standards set forth by Australian employment regulations. The Employee shall be entitled to paid time off and access to professional development opportunities, subject to the Company's policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
7. Superannuation: The company shall make a contribution on your behalf to the nominated superannuation fund industry.
