Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for managing complex engineering upgrade projects across the property portfolio, providing expert technical advice, resolving complex engineering issues, and supporting the delivery of upgrade works, inspections, and skilled engineering services in collaboration with specialist engineers.
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate and provide specialist engineering advice (structural, civil, or hydraulics) on new and existing assets, offering recommendations and design reviews to support project managers and stakeholders.
- Project manage complex engineering and upgrade projects from concept to completion, coordinating with internal teams and external professionals.
- Collaborate with the Principal Engineer and team to deliver engineering upgrade works efficiently.
- Assess project risks, recommend mitigations, and support quality, cost, and timeline objectives.
- Work with the Capital Works team to implement effective project, contract, and engineering management practices.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure engineering requirements, standards, and specifications are clearly defined.
- Promote industry best practices and continuous improvement across engineering processes and programs.
- Monitor and report project progress, key metrics, and maintain accurate records in corporate systems.
- Manage assigned projects in line with governance, risk management, and quality assurance requirements.
Essential requirements:
- Qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering field(s).
- Demonstrated engineering experience in residential property environment.
