The Foggy Lantern is seeking a Cook / Chef for a full-time role. The position is based in Murray Bridge and offers an indicative salary of $75,000-$90,000 plus superannuation depending on experience and the position in which the successful candidate is employed.

Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cook / Chef to join The Foggy Lantern team in a full-time capacity. The successful applicant will:

- Prepare and cook menu items to a consistently high standard.
- Assist with menu planning and seasonal menu updates.
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen supplies.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and prep work.
- Work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.




- Support and train junior kitchen staff where required.
- Help with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.

Contribute to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture.

Requirements

Applicants must hold an appropriate qualification or have a minimum of two years’ relevant experience. A strong understanding of kitchen practices, food safety, and the ability to work well in a busy team environment is essential.
