Senior People Advisor at red-gate. About the role In this pivotal role, you will act as a key resource for managers, assisting them in navigating complex employee-related issues and promoting the development of high-performing teams. Your responsibilities will include bridging the gap between People Partnering and People Operations, while also enhancing internal processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

What you'll do
- Oversee a varied caseload of employee relations issues across the UK and EMEA, including matters related to absences, probation evaluations, and informal grievances.
- Serve as a coach and advisor for managers, helping them to address and resolve challenges before they escalte into larger problems.
- Interpret updates in legislation and changes in company policies, providing actionable insights and guidance to the business.
- Design and facilitate training sessions aimed at enhancing the skills and confidence of managers in handling personnel matters.
- Initiate and implement AI-driven automation tools to streamline workflows within the People Partnering function.
- Assess when to independently resolve cases and when to elevate issues to a People Partner for further assistance.
- Collaborate with the Head of People Team to refine and improve internal HR processes and practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with legal standards and internal policies.
- Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and employee relations initiatives.
- Foster a culture of open communication and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Engage in regular feedback sessions with managers to identify areas for support and development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR to continuously enhance the People Advisory function.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources or People Advisor capacity, particularly in managing independent employee relations cases.
- In-depth understanding of UK employment law and its application across various regions, including EMEA.
- Proven experience in providing support to managers in international settings, including locations such as Amsterdam, Berlin, and Australia.
- Strong coaching skills with the ability to challenge and guide managers at all organizational levels.
- Experience in creating and delivering training programs focused on manager development and engagement.
- Excellent organizational abilities to effectively manage a diverse and high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and foster collaboration across teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Previous experience in a tech or software company.
