Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking to take the next step in your career?

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Leading Hand Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team. Based in our workshop, this role offers the opportunity to combine leadership responsibilities with specialised field service work including vibration analysis, condition monitoring, and laser shaft alignment across the East Coast.

This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys a mix of workshop leadership, hands-on mechanical work, and travel to customer sites delivering reliability-focused maintenance solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

- Leading and supervising workshop personnel.
- Overhauling and repairing rotating equipment.
- Conducting vibration analysis and condition monitoring services.
- Performing laser shaft alignments and precision maintenance.
- Supporting breakdowns, shutdowns, and field service activities.Preparing technical reports and recommendations.
- Building strong relationships with clients across a range of industries.





What We're Looking For

- Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner.
- Proven Leading Hand or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of rotating machinery.
- Hands-on experience with vibration analysis and laser alignment.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the East Coast as required.

Desirable Qualifications

- Category I or II Vibration Analysis Certification.
- Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets.
