About Us

At Cancer Council Queensland, our mission is simple - to ensure no Queenslander is left navigating cancer alone. We’re here to provide support to everyone impacted by cancer, and to improve quality of life for all Queenslanders facing a diagnosis. We do this through work in three key areas, cancer research, cancer prevention and early detection, and cancer support services.

Working at Cancer Council Queensland

Cancer Council Queensland employees and volunteers lead Queenslanders in a partnership against cancer by living our values of being responsible, inclusive, equitable, and collaborative. We provide a positive and supportive working environment where you will be a valued team member.

About The Role

The Supporter Engagement Coordinator is often the first person a supporter speaks to at Cancer Council Queensland. You will answer phone calls and emails, help people with donation and fundraising enquiries, send receipts and event materials, and make sure each enquiry reaches the right team. You'll record every interaction accurately and communicate with supporters in a warm, personal, and respectful way. You'll also prepare personalised thank-you and impact communications, so supporters know they mean more to us than their donation. This role is a key part of the Individual Giving team and contributes directly to supporter experience and fundraising outcomes.

This role is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week).

About You
