Clinical Midwife – MGP / Core Midwife | Far North Queensland

I'm recruiting experienced Clinical Midwives (CM) and Midwives (MGP/Core) for multiple contracts across Thursday Island, Weipa, and Cooktown.

Multiple Contract Dates Available (August–November 2026)

Locations Available:

- Thursday Island – CM Core & MGP
- Weipa – CM MGP & MGP
- Cooktown – CM MGP, MGP & Clinical Nurse – Maternal & Child Health

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 3 years' experience in MGP/Core Midwifery
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- FSEP
- CTG competency
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation
- MEP Advanced (or equivalent)
- Recent birthing experience

Highly Desirable

- Epidural competency
- Willingness to participate in portfolio and audit management as a senior staff member
