We are a leading architectural and design practice seeking a passionate and capable Interior Designer to join our Interior Design team, based out of our Brisbane or Melbourne Studios.

About the role
Due to ongoing growth,
ThomsonAdsett is seeking a mid level Interior Designer to join our studios in either Fortitude Valley or Melbourne. You will be supported by ThomsonAdsett’s leadership team to for project deliverables. Skills such as design concepts and presentation, documentation outputs, and assistance during site phases are critical to this role.Any experience with consultant coordination is beneficial.
Responsibilities
The role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of project work across multiple sectors, delivering architectural design and documentation for projects across all project stages including:
- Assist the Team with developing concept plans through client workshops and consultant team meetings to assist with finalising concept designs;
- Create design presentations, with sufficient knowledge of Adobe software and/or 3D presentation software such as Enscape, Lumion or 3D Studio Max;
- Actively participate in Project User Group Meetings, including facilitating and minuting outcomes;
- Develop coordinated Revit documentation through design development and construction documentation phases;
- Work closely with the senior staff to ensure the design intent and quality is maintained through documentation;
- Contribute to the delivery of projects and project packages on time.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be someone who has:
- 3+ years post-grad experience;
- A positive understanding of National Construction Code and Australian Standards;
- Solid skill level in Revit with documentation experience on a variety of architectural and interiors projects;
- Experience particularly in Concept Design, Design Development and Contract Documentation;
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Indesign, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat accompanied with good graphics skills;
- An enthusiastic, collaborative approach and great team communication skills;
- A desire to work on a diverse portfolio of projects.
