We are currently seeking professional Security Officers to join our growing team for an ongoing retail security and asset protection contract in Melbourne's northern suburbs.

About the Role

This is an ongoing position with permanent roster opportunities available across:

- Day Shifts
- Afternoon Shifts
- Night Shifts

We value flexibility and teamwork. Applicants who are available to work a variety of shifts will be highly regarded. We aim to provide consistent rosters and work closely with our team to balance our operational requirements with each employee's availability.

During trading hours, officers will provide a highly visible security presence within the store, assisting with loss prevention, customer service and ensuring the safety of staff and customers.

Overnight shifts focus on securing the premises, conducting patrols, maintaining a visible deterrent and protecting the client's assets.

Duties

- Maintain a professional and visible security presence
- Patrol the premises and monitor for suspicious activity
- Deter theft, vandalism and anti-social behaviour
- Assist store staff with safety and security concerns




- Monitor CCTV where required
- Respond to incidents professionally and appropriately
- Complete accurate incident reports
- Work closely with fellow security officers and store management
- Protect client assets and maintain a safe environment
- Deliver professional customer service while maintaining a strong security presence

What We're Looking For

- Current Victorian Security Licence
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential
- Professional presentation
- Robust observation skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Previous retail or static guarding experience is desirable but not essential
