Civilivic Pty Ltd is a Civil Engineering Contractor who undertake Project Management and Civil Engineering Construction in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay, Toowoomba, Gympie, and SE Queensland. We are well respected by clients, authorities, and the industry with a solid and expanding workload. Our main focus is on subdivisions and civil infrastructure projects. We are a family-owned company and looking to grow through the next phase of our business. This is a new position to strengthen our Construction Team - an exciting prospect for the right person.

About the role

This full-time Civil Construction Foreman role with Civilivic Pty Ltd is based in Gympie/ Sunshine Coast, QLD. As the Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

Effectively supervise and direct construction crews to complete tasks and meet project goals

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and coordinate construction activities

Monitor and maintain site safety, including enforcing safety procedures and PPE requirements

Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process

Provide feedback and guidance to workers to help them improve their skills and performance





Ensure all construction work is completed in compliance with relevant regulations and specifications

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the project

What we're looking for

Significant experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in the civil construction industry

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in civil construction, specifically in subdivision projects

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills

Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings

Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders

Relevant qualifications or certifications in civil construction or project management
