The Role
Our client is looking for a capable Civil Design Engineer with 2-4+ years of design experience to join their team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering advice on a diverse range of industrial, commercial,
and retail projects.
- Develop concept and detailed engineering designs, including hardstands, car park levels, pavements, stormwater networks, onsite detention systems, treatment systems, roof drainage, and associated infrastructure.
- Prepare design drawings and construction documentation using AutoCAD and Civil 3D .
- Liaise with Councils and local authorities to obtain relevant design approvals.
- Coordinate with consultants, builders, developers, and clients to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of projects.
About You
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred), or another relevant engineering qualification.
- 2-4+ years of consulting experience working on industrial, commercial, and retail projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D .
- Strong technical knowledge and a sound understanding of Australian Standards and local Council requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
- The ability to work independently while demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a willingness to learn and develop professionally.
