Lantrak is seeking an experienced Transport Safety Advisor to lead the implementation and ongoing management of our Heavy Vehicle Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Management Plan across our fatigue-managed heavy vehicle fleet.

This is a key operational role that works closely with management, drivers, subcontractors, project teams and clients to ensure the highest standards of transport safety, compliance and driver performance are maintained across our operations.

What You'll Be Doing

Driver Standards & Training

- Conduct driver assessments and competency reviews
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and driver forums
- Identify opportunities to improve driver performance and safety outcomes
- Support drivers and subcontractors to assist them to understand and meet project requirements

Compliance & Auditing

- Manage training records, VOCs and compliance documentation
- Conduct audits, inspections and compliance reviews
- Support quarterly re-inspections, random audits and ongoing monitoring activities
- Ensure compliance with NHVR, Chain of Responsibility and Lantrak requirements

Safety & Continuous Improvement

- Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve safety performance
- Champion a culture of accountability, compliance and professionalism

What We're Looking For

- Strong understanding of heavy vehicle safety,



NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Experience in transport, civil construction, logistics or earthmoving environments
- Confident communicator who can engage with drivers, subcontractors and site teams
- Highly organised with solid attention to detail
- Someone who takes ownership, sets standards and follows through
- Practical, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
