Your New Role

As the House Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support for Myxa participants, ensuring compliance with organisational requirements and NDIS practice standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and supporting a team of Disability Support Workers in a accommodation setting
- Managing daily operations of support services
- Collaborating with participants' care teams, including allied health professionals, to ensure care plans are met and services are delivered at the highest standard
- Regularly reviewing and updating participant documentation
- Inducting new support staff
- Conducting supervision sessions with support staff
- Addressing team conflicts and performance issues
- Participating in staff meetings, supervision, and training sessions
- Identifying, reporting, and following up on workplace health and safety matters
- Managing and reporting incidents

What You’ll Need to Succeed

You should have previous experience and a solid understanding of the NDIS, including its practice standards and participant support requirements.

Key Selection Criteria

- Experience in team support
- Robust understanding of the complex needs of individuals with disabilities
- Forensic Experience
- Knowledge and experience in delivering services according to NDIS Practice Standards
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and task planning skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic and initiative
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Driver’s license
