The opportunity

We need an experienced Wet Fire Technician to join our team servicing commercial sites across Melbourne and surrounding metropolitan areas . You'll work across a variety of wet fire systems with the autonomy to manage your day while being backed by a supportive and experienced team. This is a field-based role focused on maintenance, service and repairs, with genuine opportunities to develop your career within a growing national business.

What you'll be doing

- Service, maintain and repair commercial wet fire systems.

- Carry out routine inspections and testing in accordance with AS1851 standards.

- Diagnose faults and complete corrective maintenance works.

- Complete service reports and compliance documentation accurately and on time.

- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with relevant regulations.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients on site.

- Work closely with the scheduling and operations teams to deliver quality outcomes.

What you'll bring

- Proven experience in the maintenance, service and repair of commercial wet fire systems.

- VBA Registration or Licence or relevant trade qualification.





- Solid knowledge of AS1851 Fire Maintenance Standards.

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.

- Commitment to workplace health and safety.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus points for

- Qualified Sprinkler Fitter.

- Experience across a broad range of commercial fire protection systems.

- Working at Heights, EWP or other relevant industry tickets.

- Experience using digital reporting and maintenance platforms.
