Explore & Develop Umina Beach is growing! As part of an exciting expansion, we are opening two brand-new Preschool Rooms, and we are seeking an exceptional Head of Preschool to lead our Preschool program.

About the Role
As Head of Preschool you will:
- Lead the educational direction of our Preschool program.
- Deliver high-quality educational programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Mentor and support Early Childhood Teachers and educators.
- Coordinate innovative projects that extend children's learning.
- Plan and lead engaging excursions and community partnerships.
- Ensure documentation and programming reflect best practice.
- Work collaboratively with the Leadership Team to maintain our Exceeding practice.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families and the local community.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A recognised Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) .
- Current NESA Proficient Teacher Accreditation .
- A minimum of five years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher.
- Demonstrated experience leading curriculum and mentoring educators.
- Excellent knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for creating engaging, child-led learning experiences.
- A collaborative and positive leadership style.
Position Requirements
- Full time position.
- Monday to Friday.
- Our service operates between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
- Availability to work a combination of opening, middle and closing shifts is essential to support the operational needs of our long day care service.
