Since small beginnings in 2004 right here in the Western Downs, CRC Electrical & Refrigeration has grown into a large, highly-skilled team. Our expertise allows us to offer tailored solutions to fit a range of industries, from mining and commercial, through to feedlot and agricultural operations.

Today we tend to a local area stretching east to Toowoomba, south to Moonie, west to Roma, and north to Taroom. Recognised as the reliable choice for electrical and communications solutions on the Western Downs, we will have you up and running in no time preparing drawings, plans, and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry.

We currently have a position available for an Electrician.

Tasks

- Measuring and laying out installation reference points
- Selecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectors




- Using electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults
- Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts
- Positioning and installing electrical switchboards
- Connecting electrical systems to power supply
- Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations.
- Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus. Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Estimating materials costs and quantities.

Qualifications

Suitable certification or relevant experience

Experience

At least 3 years' experience in a similar setting
