We are now looking for a commercially driven and analytically focused Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial & Strategy team in Melbourne.

About the Role

The Senior Commercial Analyst plays a key role in supporting the commercial performance of the business across our Oceania services portfolio. This role provides commercial insight, financial modelling, pricing support, and contract analysis to help drive informed business decisions and profitable growth.

You will work closely with Account Management, Finance, Operations, Legal, and regional business leaders to support negotiations, tenders, renewals, and ongoing commercial performance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor P&L; performance and provide analysis on trends, risks, opportunities, and variances




- Build and maintain financial and commercial models for pricing, renewals, variations, and business cases
- Analyse contractual obligations, service levels, and commercial terms
- Support customer negotiations, tenders, and procurement processes with commercial insights and modelling
- Prepare internal reporting packs, governance materials, and customer-facing presentations
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, and Account Management teams to support commercially sound outcomes
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and opportunity assessmentsContribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes and tools

About You

You are commercially curious, proactive, and highly analytical, with the ability to influence stakeholders and work across multiple priorities.

You will ideally bring:

- Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
- Experience in financial modelling, pricing, or commercial analysis
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving capability
- Ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights
- A proactive, hands-on approach to driving outcomes

Desirable Experience

- Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or similar
- CA/CPA qualifications or progress toward certification
- Experience in technology services, telecommunications, supply chain, or related industries
- Exposure to contracts, tenders, or commercial negotiations
