We're looking for a warm, organised, and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our friendly haematology specialist practice located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.

This is a front-of-house role where you'll play an important part in creating a calm, supportive experience for our patients, many of whom are going through complex or long-term care.

About the Role

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll:

- Welcome patients in person and over the phone, offering reassurance and kindness
- Manage appointments, referrals, and correspondence with attention to detail
- Liaise with hospitals, laboratories, and referring doctors
- Handle billing, Medicare, and EFTPOS transactions
- Support our specialists and nursing staff with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Help ensure the clinic runs smoothly and patients feel genuinely cared for

About You





We’d love to hear from you if you are:

- Experienced in medical reception or specialist practice administration
- A strong communicator with a warm, skilled manner
- Someone who takes pride in staying organised and calm under pressure
- Familiar with Genie, or similar medical software
- Passionate about making patients feel respected, heard, and supported
- Authorised to work in Australia
