We're looking for an experienced Claims Manager (within a brokerage, not Insurer side) to join our growing boutique insurance brokerage.

Claims are one of the most important touchpoints in the client journey, and we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting clients through the process while delivering outstanding service and achieving the best possible outcomes.

Working closely with clients, insurers and our broking team, you'll take ownership of claims from lodgment through to settlement, ensuring every claim is managed professionally, efficiently and with empathy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing end-to-end general insurance claims from lodgment through to settlement
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the claims process
- Liaising with insurers and other stakeholders to progress claims and negotiate outcomes
- Providing regular updates and guidance to clients throughout their claims journey
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurer claims teams
- Maintaining accurate claim records and updating broking systems
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the client experience

About You

- You're an experienced claims qualified who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships.
- To be successful in this role,



you'll ideally have:
- A minimum of 2 years' claims experience within an insurance brokerage (essential)
- Sound knowledge of general insurance claims and insurer processes
- ANZIIF qualifications or equivalent (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously
- High attention to detail and strong administration skills
- Experience using insurance broking systems
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
