What is the role?
A fantastic opportunity currently exists for a Collections Officer to join IQumulate.This a great opportunity to work within a supportive and close knit team focused on providing a seamless customer experience. You will work closely with other internal teams and liaise directly with our client and customer base. You will be provided training and feedback that will enable you to learn and grow within a high performing team.
In this role some of your key accountabilitiesare:
Fostering a collaborative and dynamic team setting
Providing excellent customer service through strong stakeholder management
Action collections activities aligned to KPIs and service level agreements
Proactively support the execution of the collections work
Enhance and manage process documentation
Collaborate and work closely with internal teams to mitigate arrears exposure
Ensure consistent and effective processes and standards are maintained
Understand, monitor and control key risks within the collections function
Identify and share knowledge for best practice
This role is both varied and challenging,
requiring a high level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritise several competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What are we looking for?
Prior experience in collections or customer service preferred
Someone willing to learn with the right attitude
Patience and resilient
Outstanding team player
Exceptional communication - written, verbal and influencing skills
Effective negotiating skills when having difficult conversations
Ability to work efficiently and accurately
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Understanding of regulatory requirements (Financial Services industry)
Demonstrated workflow management skills & experience.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook
Previous experience in insurance industry and products desirable.
