Biomechanics/Musculoskeletal Podiatrist - Part Time
Newcastle Family and Sports Podiatry – Hamilton East NSW
We are seeking a part time Biomechanics / Musculoskeletal Podiatrist to join our Practice. This position with its focus on sports podiatry along with mentoring by our leading Certified Sports Podiatrist will enable development of your clinical skills to the highest possible level.

Hours
- 2 or 3 consecutive clinical days
Duties & Responsibilities
- Management of musculoskeletal conditions across a broad demographic including recreational and elite athletes
- Prescription orthotic therapy
- Rehabilitation of patients
- Shockwave, swift microwave therapy and other technologies
- Nail surgery and post operative care
- General podiatry as needed
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Podiatry
- Current APHRA registration and appropriate professional indemnity insurance
- Current CPR and Anaphylaxis certification
Experience & attributes
- Minimumof 2 years full-time Podiatry experience with a grounding in biomechanics / musculoskeletal assessment and treatment.
- Strong clinical problem-solving abilities particularly for complex cases
- Independent clinical thought processes
- Sound interpersonal skills
- Commitment to ongoing career development and continuing education
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- SEPA, SMA or other memberships will be viewed favourably
