Darwin Private Hospital is currently seeking experienced Registered Nursesto join our Medical/Surgical and Rehab Ward. We pride ourselves on quality care for our patients and their families. You will be provided with many learning opportunities across a diverse range of nursing skill sets.

You will strengthen health outcomes through the provision of protected quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities:

Utilising a structured approach, carry out comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients

Implement planned evidence-based nursing interventions within your scope of practice

Demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and procedures and management of patients seeking outstanding care

Implement strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into service provision

Maintain and adhere to Infection Control policies and practices

Complies with organizational policies, procedures and guideline

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recent nursing experience on a medical/surgical or rehab ward
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles
- National Police Clearance
- NT WWC
- Proof of Immunisation

salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope Darwin Private Hospital Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary of $41.90 - $56.51 per hour.
