Best Western Chaffey Motel is seeking a friendly, professional and motivated Guest Service Agent / Receptionist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and thrives on providing exceptional service.

As the face of our hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring every arrival, stay and departure is welcoming, seamless and memorable. As part of our close-knit team, you will also assist in our restaurant and food & beverage operations during busy periods, making this a varied and rewarding hospitality role.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude while managing check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations,



room allocations and guest accounts accurately.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial and reservation records.
- Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide local knowledge and assist guests with recommendations and special requests.
- Assist with restaurant and bar operations as required, including taking orders, serving guests and supporting the food & beverage team during busy service periods.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation throughout all guest areas.

About You

- Have a flexible approach to work and be committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Skills & Experience

- Previous reception,



hotel or hospitality experience is highly regarded but not essential.
- Experience with hotel reservation systems (Protel, RMS or similar) is advantageous.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate is essential.
- Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- A willingness to assist in restaurant and food & beverage operations when required.
