Experienced Fashion Designer – 6 MONTH CONTRACT.

Based in Geelong with offices throughout Australasia, Stage II is a agile and fast-growing fashion company behind some of Australia’s leading brands. We are seeking an experienced and highly creative, passionate Fashion Designer to join our team on a 6-month contract, full time hours.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for a talented designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of current fashion trends, commercial product development and the end‑to‑end design process.

Key Accountabilities

- Construct a commercially balanced range which offers the right mix of print, plain, and colour and present in CAD form
- Analyse & have a comprehensive understanding of category history applying this to the range
- Evaluate range performance by assessing weekly sales reports and attending monthly reviews, taking learnings into future ranges
- Comprehensive knowledge of local and overseas market trends through various mediums




- Analyse relevance of trends for brand and plan reaction accordingly
- Complete thorough style tech packs, outlining garment specifications for PD team
- Work with Product Developer to ensure best fit, consistency of fit and best possible quality of fabric, trim, make and finish
- Be aware of production progress against critical path ensuring key dates are met by the team
- Attend range reviews and contribute innovative ideas.

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 5 years industry experience
- Excellent in Adobe Creative Suite
- Tertiary qualification in fashion design or relevant
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- A creative and collaborative approach to the role
- Free On‑Site Parking
