Marketing Officers (International Student Recruitment - Indonesia and Kenya)

Why Your Role Matters
PIA is seeking experienced Marketing Officers (2x) to support international student recruitment for the markets in Indonesia and Kenya . The role involves promoting PIA courses, managing student enquiries, developing education-agent relationships, supporting marketing campaigns and achieving agreed recruitment targets.
Working closely with the Marketing Specialist and Administration teams, the Marketing Officer plays an important role in ensuring prospective students receive high-quality information and service, while also helping to raise the profile of PIA through events, marketing collateral, and digital channels.
Status: Full-time
Reporting to: Deputy COO
What You’ll Do
In this role, responsibilities include the following:
1. Student Recruitment and Admissions Support
- Respond to and manage prospective student enquiries, both offshore and onshore
- Assist with processing student applications and maintaining accurate records
- Provide basic advice to students on courses, accommodation,
and services
2. Marketing and Promotional Activities
- Assist in developing and distributing brochures, banners, website updates, and digital content
- Support social media management and other digital marketing activities
- Contribute to the implementation of student recruitment campaigns
3. Agent and Partnership Support
- Maintain and update the education agent database
- Provide administrative support for agent onboarding and orientation
- Assist in coordinating partnership activities with agents and education providers
4. Events and Engagement
- Support the organisation of student engagement activities, exhibitions, and promotional events
- Provide logistical and promotional support for education fairs and functions (onshore and offshore if required)
5. Research and Reporting
- Contribute to market research to identify trends and student recruitment opportunities
- Assist in preparing reports on marketing and recruitment activity
- Provide regular recruitment and market-performance reports
About You
- Language proficiency of either of the two required: Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesia) and Swahili/Kiswahili (Kenya)
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or working towards completion)
- Experience in international education, marketing, recruitment or sales
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital platforms
- Ability to meet recruitment targets, and travel when required
- Knowledge of the Australian Higher Education sector is preferred
- Knowledge of Higher Education regulations including ESOS Act and Threshold Standards
- Experience working with international students or multicultural communities
- CRM or student management system experience
- Skills in Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design tools
- Fluency in a second language.
