About the Role

The FM Operations Manager will be responsible for managing Non Process Infrastructure (NPI) assets, accommodation and camp operations. This is a permanent position working on a rotating roster to various camps operating throughout Queensland.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for Hard services delivery – CMMS, electrical and HVAC maintenance in remote camps and villages
- P+L duties
- People leadership – Supervisors and mixed trade team
- Strong client engagement skills, change mgmt. and customer focus
- Ensure compliance with electrical requirements and standards
- Manage minor works project activities for camp and site office assets
- Act as point of contact for the Client for all operational requirements
- Participate in audits and inspections
- Ensure strict standards for HSE
- Ensure all personnel are trained and competent in safe working practices
- Regular reporting to management and client

Successful Criteria

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering,Project Management or relevant Trade (electrical preferred), or substantial relevant experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in a senior management or operational role




- Experience leading teams and mentoring
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills and client relationship management
- High level planning, analytical and problem solving skills
- The ability to work autonomously and be hands-on when required
- Experience working on a site based environment within the Oil & Gas, Resources or Construction industries
- Mobile camp operations & field experience
- Contractor management skills & experience
