Fixed-term, Part-time (August 2026 to April2027)
The Geelong College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced 1stBoys Tennis Coach to lead our premier boys' tennis program for the2026/2027 APS season.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate coach todevelop talented student-athletes, foster a positive team culture,and contribute to a competitive APS tennis program. Working closelywith the Director of Sport, Teacher in Charge of Tennis andStrength & Conditioning staff, you will play a key role in thetechnical, tactical, and personal development of ourstudents.
The role includes pre-season training from Term 3, 2026, withthe APS season running from Term 4, 2026 through to the end of Term1, 2027.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Elite coaching and/or high-level playing experience intennis.
- Tennis Australia Level 1 Coaching Accreditation (orequivalent).
- Experience coaching children and young people.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to developing youngathletes.
- The ability to foster a positive, inclusive andhigh-performing team setting.
Essential Compliance Requirements
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee status) orVIT Registration, or ability to obtain
- Completion of College anaphylaxis training (or accreditedequivalent)
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011), CPR (HLTAID009) and AsthmaManagement certification
- Completion of the Protecting Children – MandatoryReporting and other Obligations module (VictorianDepartment of Education and Training)
- Provide Evidence of Right to Work in Australia
- Victorian Driver’s Licence
